Automatic Laser & Wire Cladding Welding Machine With CNC System
I. Description
Laser wire cladding welding machines utilize a high-power laser. A precision cladding head focuses the laser beam onto the substrate surface, while simultaneously feeding a metal wire into the laser beam's active area. The high energy of the laser beam rapidly melts the wire, forming a molten pool. Simultaneously, some of the energy also melts a thin layer on the substrate surface. As the cladding head and workpiece move relative to each other, the molten pool rapidly solidifies, forming a surface coating that is metallurgically bonded to the substrate material.
II. Core Components
Laser System: Typically uses a 500W-6000W fiber laser, offering high stability and excellent beam quality.
Wire Feed System: Precision wire feed mechanism (e.g., servo motor drive) supporting solid or flux-cored wire (0.8-2.0mm diameter).
Cooling System: Water or air cooling to ensure long-term operation.
Control System: CNC or PLC control with integrated human-machine interface (HMI), programmable paths.
Shielding Gas: Argon/Nitrogen to prevent oxidation and improve cladding quality.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. How to customize an automatic welding machine for your workpiece?
Please provide us with the following details so we can design a system optimized for your needs:
• The material details of your workpiece.
• The dimensions (length, width, thickness) of the workpiece, or a dimensional blueprint drawing (include the min and max size range if workpieces vary).
• Real photographs of the workpiece are also highly helpful.
2. What are the core components of the automatic welding system?
Depending on configuration, our standard setups integrate a solid suite of core components including high-precision PLC units, CNC controller units, high-speed frequency inverters, advanced servo motors with matching drivers, heavy-duty welding power sources, high-precision welding torches, robotic systems, and pneumatic control modules.
3. Is it possible to design a multi-station system with multiple welding torches?
Yes, absolutely. We can construct multi-station systems equipped with one, two, or multiple active welding torches working in parallel configurations to significantly boost production output and efficiency.
4. What component brands are integrated inside the machinery?
We integrate standard components from industry-leading international and reputable domestic brands. For power sources, Panasonic and OTC systems are commonly deployed, but we can easily configure Lincoln or Miller sources according to your preferences. For PLC modules, Siemens and Omron are highly favored, and premium robotic arms from Yaskawa, ABB, KUKA, or OTC can be selected.
5. What kinds of welding machines are available?
Our specialized product configurations cover three key dimensions:
• Power Source Type: Automatic TIG, MIG, and Submerged Arc (SAW) welding systems.
• Application-Based: Automotive parts assembly, structural scaffolding components, pipe-to-flange junctions, tank storage fabrication, hydraulic piston rod assemblies, and wheel production lines.
• Seam Geometry: Optimized solutions for circular/girth seams, longitudinal straight seams, square profiles, and highly complex, irregular multi-axis paths.
6. Is it possible to extend the warranty duration?
Yes, our standard complimentary warranty is 1 year. If your project mandates extended coverage, we offer customizable long-term warranty extension options at a nominal cost. Regardless of the chosen warranty term, all products come backed by our lifelong dedicated after-sales customer support services.
